American Airlines Timetable User's Guide
The American Airlines Timetable is convenient, easy to use and right at your fingertips! The following user's guide provides step-by-step instructions for using the Timetable.

Scheduled Flights
The Scheduled Flights feature is a global look up tool (nonstop, direct flights) and connection builder (one-stop and multi-stop flights) between city pairs for specified travel dates.

  1. Click the Scheduled Flights screen text to begin your lookup.
  2. Select the From airport by choosing it from the pull down menu or entering its three digit IATA airport code.
  3. Tab to access the To airport menu.
  4. Select the To airport by choosing it from the pull down menu or entering its three digit IATA airport code.
  5. Tab to access the Flight Date by clicking the desired date from the pop up calendar window.
  6. Scheduled Flights for the selected city pair and date are displayed on the screen.
  7. Output fields include Departure and Arrival time, Flight Duration, Carrier and Stops (if applicable).
  8. Summary information is provided on the left side of the screen including the total number of flights and the minimum and maximum flight duration.
  9. Scroll to view all flights. Click on a row to select a flight and view detailed information.
  10. Detailed information includes departure and arrival terminal, plane and meal type and stops, if applicable.
  11. Click any column heading or the Sort menu selection to change the sort order of flights by: departure, arrival, duration, ease [E-Z (nonstop, direct, one stop, etc.)] and carrier [VIA (if a route includes multiple airlines)].
  12. Click on a row to select a flight.
  13. Add selected flight to Itinerary by clicking button.
  14. View summary Itinerary.
  15. Click Return button to return to origin or Select the To airport by choosing it from the pull down menu or entering its three digit IATA airport code.
  16. Click the Date button to choose travel date.
  17. Add desired flight to Itinerary by clicking button.
  18. View summary Itinerary.
  19. Lookup additional flights or
  20. Print Itinerary by clicking Print icon.
    • Timetable will not print if no Itinerary has been created.
    • Select Print Itinerary and OK to print an Itinerary.
  21. Save Itinerary by clicking save icon and naming file.
City/Airport Timetables
The City/Airport Timetables retrieves nonstop schedules for any city pair and range of dates.
  1. Click the City/Airport Timetable screen text to begin.
  2. Select the From airport by choosing it from the pull down menu or entering its three digit IATA airport code.
  3. Tab to access the To airport menu.
  4. Select the To airport by choosing it from the pull down menu or entering its three digit IATA airport code.
  5. NOTE: Select ALL AIRPORTS as either From or To airport to see all nonstop flights From or To a single airport.
  6. Tab to access the Start Date button.
  7. Select the Start Date by clicking the Start Date button and the desired date from the pop up calendar window.
  8. Select the End Date by clicking the End Date button and the desired date from the pop up calendar window.
  9. Review the output.
  10. Print the City/Airport Timetable by clicking Print icon.
  11. Clear and begin a new search.
